Hall for Cornwall

Barabas is coming...

Some of you might be thinking it has all gone a bit too quiet on the blog front. What has happened to Barabas?

Hopefully you’ve managed to catch up with all the progress in the printed press – from the glossy feature in Inside Cornwall, to an appearance in the theatre picks section in The Guardian on Saturday. Not to mention the huge billboard outside Truro train station – impossible to miss!

After their three week stint over at the TA Centre, where Anna whipped them into shape, the company moved back into the Hall for Cornwall on Monday. Whilst the actors were learning the weight of one hundred two pence coins, the musicians got composing, also in another part of town.

The timeless, sea worn, set took shape up in Plymouth, and over the weekend the fantastic crew were hard at work toiling through the night to set up the stage and prep everything.

Now, everybody is looking to Friday evening. The tech rehearsals are underway, music and action have come together on the intriguing set, and the final tweaks are happening to the costumes.

We look forward to welcoming you into the deceitful world of Barabas...
